If you asked me several years ago what genre I would primarily be writing in, I don’t think I would have said romance. But with how the genre is exploding and changing, I realized my lane would be emotionally resonant romance with a medical background. And with what is happening in the world right now, I think we all could use some stories where love wins.

The main group of four girls in the Med Wreck series were inspired by my best friends in medical school. I always thought their personalities were so unique and distinct that they’d make great characters in a novel or show. They have all been so supportive of my author journey!

I focus on themes such as music in healing, queer love, found family, and intergenerational trauma. While some of the themes are of a darker nature, I try to bring light and hope to all of my stories.

My incredible cover artist is Rhiannon Davenport. She was my middle school best friend, but we fell out of touch since high school. We randomly reconnected on a Facebook page a couple of years ago, and when I started this journey, I realized I wanted her to do my covers, and she graciously accepted. She’s a highly talented illustrator who has designed trad pub covers for the Big Five, and I’m beyond lucky to have her on my team. She’s also my marketing director and developed my author branding!

Yes, I regularly participate in book signing events and plan to do a local release party with every book! I hope to start doing more outside of my area as well. You can find the latest updates on my website, including dates and locations for upcoming signings.
